Etna Half Day

Updated: May 9

Etna Half Day will let you discover a magnificent volcano full of surprises, even if you have little time.

- What does the service include?

There will be a transfer from Milo or from a place to be agreed upon - with a comfortable 9-seater minibus authorised to transport passengers - to the starting point of the trek.

The morning will be dedicated to discovering the Sartorius side craters. These eruptive apparatuses are a magnificent manifestation of the power and uniqueness of Etna volcano. There are some 250 unique and unrepeatable craters.

Etna is an active volcano, the highest of all European volcanoes, and has been a Regional Park since 1987. It has also been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013, and has become one of Italy's four UNESCO sites.

Your Environmental hiking guide will tell you about the geology, history, myths and culture of the place. After the trek, your guide will lead you inside a volcanic cave.

At the end of this visit, you will be accompanied by a comfortable minibus to the agreed location.

"It only takes a few hours to go from the sea to the volcano and discover it with a qualified guide".
