Etna Half Day will let you discover a magnificent volcano full of surprises, even if you have little time.
- What does the service include?
There will be a transfer from Milo or from a place to be agreed upon - with a comfortable 9-seater minibus authorised to transport passengers - to the starting point of the trek.
The morning will be dedicated to discovering the Sartorius side craters. These eruptive apparatuses are a magnificent manifestation of the power and uniqueness of Etna volcano. There are some 250 unique and unrepeatable craters.
Etna is an active volcano, the highest of all European volcanoes, and has been a Regional Park since 1987. It has also been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013, and has become one of Italy's four UNESCO sites.
Your Environmental hiking guide will tell you about the geology, history, myths and culture of the place. After the trek, your guide will lead you inside a volcanic cave.
At the end of this visit, you will be accompanied by a comfortable minibus to the agreed location.

Technical Sheet Information
It is necessary to have trekking shoes or good trainers with you. An anorak, a fleece, a hat, a small backpack, trekking poles, a 1.5-liter water bottle.
In winter with the right snow conditions it is possible to hike with snowshoes.
Level: Easy. For novice hikers.
Recommended period: All year round.
