Walk & Glamp

Walk & Glamp is the right proposal for lovers of nature and psychophysical well-being.

Five days dedicated to trekking and discovering the typical features of eastern Sicily. Tastes, colours, and landscapes of Noto, all to be discovered and enjoyed... Each day we will visit undiscovered corners of Noto Valley, long since recognised by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.


Shauri Glamping Tent

Day 1: Arrival and accommodation at Glamping Shauri.



Arrival at Catania airport and transfer to Glamping Shauri. Welcome drink and check in. Short walk to discover the Neolithic tombs of Mount Finocchito. Dinner and overnight stay at Glamping Shauri.

Day 2: Hiking in the Anapo Valley and Pantalica Nature Reserve.



Breakfast and departure to the Anapo Valley. Hiking to discover the Anapo river and the necropolis of Pantalica, packed lunch on site. In the afternoon, transfer to Ferla. Visit to the historic centre and its splendid Baroque churches. Return to Glamping Shauri. Dinner and overnight stay.

Trekking: Medium level 4 hours approx.

Day 3: Hiking in the Carosello Valley


Breakfast and departure to the Carosello valley, a hike to discover the Byzantine tanneries and the ruins of glorious Noto Antica. Lunch at Paola's house, with tasting of typical Noto products such as: Scacce, fresh ricotta, caponata, potato balls, seasoned olives, and fresh cannoli stuffed on the spot. Return to Glamping Shauri in time to enjoy a sunset aperitif with a view of Noto. Dinner and overnight stay.


Trekking: Medium level approx. 3/4 hours

Day 4: Hiking in the Vendicari Reserve


Breakfast and departure to the Vendicari Reserve, hiking to discover its beaches and natural treasures, followed by a moment dedicated to birdwatching, packed lunch in the Vendicari tuna fishery. Continuation to Noto and visit to the mosaics of the Roman Villa del Tellaro. Afterwards arrival in Noto and free view of the baroque town. Return to Glamping Shauri. Dinner and overnight stay.


Trekking: Easy level approx. 3/4 hours

Day 5: Trekking in the Cardinale Canyon


Breakfast and departure to the Cardinale Canyon, for a hike in the still little-known and extremely fascinating Hyblean area, packed lunch on site. In the afternoon, continuation to Palazzolo Acreide, free visit to the historic centre of the town. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Palazzolo A. retains intact the typical features and traditions of Sicily as it once was. Return to the Glamping. Dinner and overnight stay.


Trekking: Medium level 3 hours approx.

Day 6: Hiking in the Tellaro Valley


Breakfast and departure for the Tellaro Valley, to discover a significant place because of its scenic and archaeological beauty, packed lunch on site. Return to Glamping Shauri. Free time or on request guided meditation with a specialised teacher or shiatzu massage. Dinner and overnight stay.


Trekking level: Medium level 4 hours approx.



Day 7: Visit of Syracuse


Breakfast and departure for Syracuse, where a visit to Ortigia and the Neapolis is planned. Possible guided tour with a tour guide on request. Return to Glamping Shauri. Dinner and overnight stay.




Day eight:


Breakfast and transfer to Catania's Vincenzo Bellini airport.



End of services.




Cost of the tour: 960.00 euro pax from 4 persons.


N.B. The tour will take place from April to October.




-The package includes:


  • 1 sunset aperitif;

  • 7 nights in a double or twin tent with half board at Glamping Shauri;

  • 4 packed lunches;

  • Lunch at Paola's

  • 8 days Driver + Nature Guide service.




-The package does not include:

  • Possible accompanying services with a tourist guide at archaeological sites;

  • Possible shiatzu massage at Glamping Shauri;

  • Entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites;

  • Other services not covered above.
