The Servant's Canyon

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

An area of particular beauty, the Servant's canyon was once frequented by the Servants of God.

A group of Capuchin friars intent on hermitage. This says it all about the amenity and spirituality of this place.

The landscape alternates between areas of flat terrain and the waterlogged canyon of the Tellesimo river. Inside you can admire woods of holm oaks and downy oaks, and stretches of garrigue, among which the shrubby thyme predominates.

The trek presents no particular problems, and is easily accessible to all. The Sevant's Canyon, is located near the beautifull villages and towns as: Palazzolo Acreide, Giarratana, Buccheri, Ragusa and Modica.

"At the end of a day spent in nature we will definitely be better off".
